به طور کلی سیستم های اسمز معکوس از اجزاء زیر تشکیل شده اند.

5- ممبران‌های مقاوم در برابر پرشدگی جهت آب لب شور (ppm8000TDS< ) .
6- ممبران‌های آب دریا (شور ) .

با توجه به کیفیت آب ورودی و کیفیت در خواستی آب تولید و میزان آب تولیدی نوع و مدل ممبران انتخاب می‌شود. روش جایگزاری ممبران با توجه به محاسبات طراحی می تواند به صورت موازی یا سری و یا روش توام باشد .
4- سیستم کنترل :

تابلو برق جهت فرمان و قدرت دستگاه طراحی و ساخته می‌شود. این تابلو می‌تواند ترکیبی از PLC و برق صنعتی و یا فقط برق صنعتی باشد .
6- سیستم تزریق ضد رسوب :
